Smallest River:Roe River

The Roe River runs between Giant Springs and the Missouri River in Great Falls, MontanaUnited States. The Roe River is only 201 feet (61 m) at its longest constant point.
A successful campaign to get the Roe River recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the shortest river in the world originated from students at Lincoln Elementary School in Great Falls, Montana. Students Molly A. Petersen and former NFL football player Dallas Neil put in an appearance on the Tonight Show as part of this effort.
Previously, Oregon's D River was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's shortest river at 440 feet (134 m).
The official smallest river is the Roe River. It is situated between Giant Springs and the Missouri River close to Great Falls, Montana.

Biggest River: Amazon River

The Amazon River  of South Americais the second longest river in the world with an average discharge greater than the next six largest rivers combined. The Amazon, which has the largest drainage basin in the world, about 7,050,000 square kilometres (2,720,000 sq mi), accounts for approximately one-fifth of the world's total river flow.
In its upper stretches the Amazon river is called Apurímac (in Peru) and Solimões (in Brazil).
The width of the Amazon varies between 1.6 and 10 kilometres (0.99 and 6.2 mi) at low stage, but expands during the wet season to 48 kilometres (30 mi) or more. The river enters the Atlantic Ocean in a broad estuary about 240 kilometres (150 mi) wide. The mouth of the main stem is 80 kilometres (50 mi).Because of its vast dimensions, it is sometimes called The River Sea. At no point is the Amazon crossed by bridges. This is not because of its huge dimensions; in fact, for most of its length, the Amazon's width is well within the capability of modern engineers to bridge. However, the bulk of the river flows through tropical rainforest, where there are few roads or cities, limiting the need for crossings.

Smallest Ocean: Arctic Ocean

The Arctic Ocean, located in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Arctic north polar region, is the smallest, and shallowest of the world's five major oceanic divisions.[1]The International Hydrographic Organization(IHO) recognizes it as an ocean, although some oceanographers call it the Arctic Mediterranean Sea or simply the Arctic Sea, classifying it as one of the mediterranean seas of the Atlantic Ocean.[2] Alternatively, the Arctic Ocean can be seen as the northernmost part of the all-encompassingWorld Ocean.

Almost completely surrounded by Eurasiaand North America, the Arctic Ocean is partly covered by sea ice throughout the year[3](and almost completely in winter). The Arctic Ocean's temperature and salinity varyseasonally as the ice cover melts and freezes;[4] its salinity is the lowest on average of the five major oceans, due to low evaporation, heavy freshwater inflow from rivers and streams, and limited connection and outflow to surrounding oceanic waters with higher salinities. The summer shrinking of the ice has been quoted at 50%.[1] The US National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) uses satellite data to provide a daily record of Arctic sea ice cover and the rate of melting compared to an average period and specific past years.

Biggest Ocean

The Pacific Ocean is the largest of the Earth'soceanic divisions. It extends from the Arctic in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south, bounded byAsia and Australia in the west, and the Americas in the east.
At 165.2 million square kilometres (63.8 million square miles) in area, this largest division of the World Ocean – and, in turn, the hydrosphere – covers about 46% of the Earth's water surface and about one-third of its total surface area, making it larger than all of the Earth's land area combined.[1] The equator subdivides it into the North Pacific Ocean and South Pacific Ocean, with two exceptions: the Galápagos andGilbert Islands, while straddling the equator, are deemed wholly within the South Pacific.[2] TheMariana Trench in the western North Pacific is the deepest point in the world, reaching a depth of 10,911 metres (35,797 ft).

The Pacific Ocean was sighted by Europeans early in the 16th century, first by the Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa who crossed the Isthmus of Panama in 1513 and named it Mar del Sur (South Sea). Its current name was given by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan during the Spanish expedition of world circumnavigation in 1521, who encountered favourable winds as he reached the ocean and called it Mar Pacifico in Portuguese, meaning "peaceful sea".

It is surrounded on three sides by its neighbour, France, and its centre is about 16 km (9.9 mi) from Italy. Its area is 1.98 km2 (0.76 sq mi) with an estimated population of almost 35,000.

Monaco’s population are required to study the language at school. Neither is Monaco part of the EU, but because of its close ties with France it participates in the EU customs territory, and there are no border formalities crossing to and from France.

Least Populated Country: Nauru

Nauru , officially theRepublic of Nauru and formerly known asPleasant Island, is an island nation in Micronesia in the South Pacific. Its nearest neighbour is Banaba Island in Kiribati, 300 kilometres (186 mi) to the east. Nauru is the world's smallest island nation, covering just 21 square kilometres (8.1 sq mi). Settled by Micronesian and Polynesian people, Nauru was annexed and claimed as a colony by the German Empire in the late 19th century. After World War I, Nauru became a League of Nations mandate administered by Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. During World War II, Nauru was annexed and claimed as a colony by the German Empire in the late 19th century. After World War I, Nauru became a League of Nations mandate administered by Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. During World War II, Nauru was occupied by Japanese troops who were bypassed by the Allied advance across the Pacific, and after the war ended, it entered into trusteeship again. Nauru was declared independent in 1968.

One of the smallest nations on earth, with a mostly Micronesian population of around 10,000 people, Nauru offers travellers a truly unique Pacific Island visit.
